Robert Farr, founder and owner of Farr & Son's Sporting Goods, is a veteran of the Niles Township Police Department. While at the police department he was the firearm training instructor. He retired from the police department in 1982. He obtained his gunsmith license in 1957 and has been repairing weapons ever since. With 50 years of gunsmith experience he is a professional in his field.. |

Steve Farr is one of the gunsmiths. He also runs the archery side of the shop. He has worked on just about any model of compound bow made. Both him and his brother Buddy are shooting Mathews this year; Steve with an LX, and Buddy with a new Switchback.
